To continue on Stacy's animal theme, the highlight of my weekend, animal-wise, (okay, who am I kidding, the highlight of my weekend, period) has been Maru's halloween dinner.

To die for.

I'm craving Thai food today but I realize that I probably won't actually eat Thai tonight. Or this week.

Why do left-overs usually taste better than the original?

The cat never just sleeps by my feet, it sleeps right on my feet. I'm 100% positive that it does this on purpose. Why this doesn't happen when it sleeps with everyone I will never know.

What I was just told when I suggested I might still look like a teenager:

Can I just say that I'm not really convinced by that?

I think I like running in races for all the free stuff I get.

In just two races I've already received: 3 running shirts, a Douglas Fir seedling, a space blanket (yes I understand this is disposable but its still super cool), and a cheap-o little backpack that works perfect for going to the gym.

Things I will get in a month: Free socks!!

My mother got me a candle holder made out of salt for my birthday. Not only is it gorgeous, but I just want to lick it because it's edible. An edible candle holder? WHAT?

Yeah.

You know what makes moderately shitty made-at-home mocha super creamy? Adding chocolate ice cream to the hot cocoa mix you just put in your coffee.

Why didn't I think of this sooner???

Stacy returned a bra to me that I left in Boston a month ago, and it's already lost again. I think fate is trying to intervene here and tell me something. I'm just not sure what.

I've thought about washing my towels but I think I'm going to give them until the end of the week. Another 3 days won't hurt, right? How fast does bacteria grow?
