Today, my mother leaves to visit my grandparents in Florida for a week. My father and I have updated our Netflix queues accordingly. Every time she leaves town is a mad rush to watch, in the comfort of our own living room, all sorts of movies she would be horribly offended by. Tonight: The Children's Hour, and Dead Alive, because zombies and homosexuality are both disturbing and wrong. Friday: foreign films! Viva la subtitles!

I watched a foreign film yesterday. It was called La Jetee (but with an accent somewhere cause it's French). It was stupid and pretentious. I really only ever want to watch Veronica Mars, you know.

Foreign films always make me think of Spanish eventos. Also, on the train the other day there was a women that look precisely like Audrey Tautou from "Amelie" (with an accent). I nearly said Bonjour!
