I know this isn't particularly mundane, but I got an acceptance letter from Texas State today! And I can't believe it's real. I have a Texas State ID and everything! I'm in. There is a good school that likes me enough to offer me acceptance into their mfa program. I was so sure that I wasn't going to get in anywhere that I started looking for jobs on Craigslist in Tuscaloosa and Atlanta.

I fully plan to drink an entire $4 bottle of wine tonight in celebration.
